Mission
Our mission is to increase awareness of west coast swing (WCS) classes and events in Winnipeg, and to bring the WCS Winnipeg community together, on and off the dance floor.
Vision
Information about local WCS classes and events will be accessible online, our dance community will have regular events to attend, and the residents of Winnipeg and the surrounding areas will know about WCS as a dance form.

Inclusivity
We believe everyone should feel safe and accepted in our community, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, age, size, mobility, religion, sexual orientation, and skill level. We celebrate diversity and non-gendered dance roles.
Visibility
We strive to raise awareness of WCS as a dance form in Winnipeg and other communities. We provide regular updates on our local WCS classes and events on a variety of platforms, making information accessible and easy to find.
Community
We aim to support the growth of the WCS Winnipeg community through organizing social events and promoting respect and camaraderie. We prioritize creating a fun, safe, and welcoming space for our community members.

If you’re interested in volunteering at a future social dance, keep an eye out for the call for volunteers when we schedule each event.
Opportunities include:

- helping to setup/cleanup
- taking photos and/or video
